It sometimes seems like politics is far away, but every letter or email to a representative really resonates. Politicians keep track of how many messages they receive on a topic. And the more voices, the harder it is to ignore. So write an email to your MP, sign an Amnesty or Oxfam petition, or ask local parties to speak out. You don't have to have a perfect argument—simply sharing why you think this is important is enough. And believe me: a personal email can sometimes make a bigger impact than a hundred standard texts.
