In the Netherlands, everyone has at least one Dutch friend with a Turkish or Syrian background. If not, make more friendly friends. If so, ask them what you can do and what they think is the best way to help. Our Turkish comrades often know more about what's actually needed on the ground. And it also shows that you care about their country of origin.
